Residential Development

Residential Development has been a keystone in our firm’s 40 year history.  We have planned recorded thousands of residential building lots all over Frederick County.   J. F. Brown III & Assoc., Inc. planned, entitled and platted notable neighborhoods in Frederick County such as Glad Hill Estates, Bennett Preserve, Cullers Retreat, Strawsleigh II, White Flint, West Oak Fields, Arrowood I & II, River Meadow, Clearview, and The Manor at Holly Hills.


Commercial Development

Our firm has planned and designed the development for many commercial establishments in the area.  We adhere to all of the Frederick County requirements while carefully designing a project to meet and fulfill all of clients needs.  By using smart designs with the most cost effective approach, we can design a site plan for any business’s needs.  Commercial clients include the  Gladhill Tractor Mart, Frederick Golf Club, M&T Bank, and Tractor Supply Company.


Boundary / ALTA Surveys


J.F. Brown III & Assoc., Inc. has performed countless boundary  surveys and American Land Title Association (ALTA) surveys.  These boundary surveys are used to settle boundary disputes, stake-out for fence construction, entering properties into any type of County or State Agricultural Easement, or to simply let our clients know the extents of their property.  Boundary and ALTA surveys have also been used to file Annexation requests to local municipalities.


Worship Facilities

Our firm has successfully planned and platted several worship facilities in the Frederick County area.  Our plans are designed to lower construction costs and still maintain viability to ensure all of our client’s requests will be met.  The most recent facility is the Xa Loi Temple on Manor Woods Road.


Natural Resource Management

J.F. Brown III & Assoc., Inc. has the expertise and technology to solve all of your natural resource management needs.  We have successfully platted and planned thousands of acres of Forest and Wetlands to create protective easements.  We complete hydrological and topographical studies to ensure all areas in need of protection are protected.  As of today, our firm has successfully completed the county’s two largest Forest Resource Ordinance projects.  The largest of the two placed over 190 acres into a perpetual easement to protect the area forever.
